I've purchased Tercio, got the link, downloaded it, but when I go to install, I get an error box saying that I don't have permission to access this file. (Sorry, but it won't let me copy the exact message). Then the downloaded file immediately erases itself.

Er... help? I'm using windows 8, the same occurs using both IE and Chrome.

That seems like some security software is interfering with the game installation. Try temporarily disabling your Internet security programs when installing Tercio.

I got a Windows alert box titled PikeandShotTerciotoSalvo.exe
A fat red and gray "X" and the message:

"Windows cannot access the specified device, path, or file.
You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."

I am running Kaspersky Internet Security, latest version and
latest updates.

After various gyrations (and reading the forum), I told
Kaspersky to pause protection. Then the download installed as
designed.

Still, all in all, an unpleasant experience. Perhaps you guys
can contact Kaspersky and tell them not to flag your .exe.

I have Kaspersky as well, sot hat appears to be the problem. Unfortunately when I tried to download, I was told I had exceeded the maximum allowable downloads, so I'm stuck. Is it possible to get my link reenabled? My serial is registered for the product.

Your best bet is to email support@slitherine.co.uk with your details and they will get you a new link.
