well that seemed to go well, hope the interest keeps and it does really well for you, Surtur did a good job and actually won a battle at last without wiping many of his own units out

I must say that I was very impressed with the demonstration of the game. It looks very good with clean and beautiful graphics. The flair and background information seem very solid and give a good role-play feeling to the whole game, sort of make the world come alive.
Game mechanics seem quite intuitive without being too simple and there seem to be more to tactical combat than what was really shown in the video. I could sort of spot how you can be quite tactical and have different goals in the tactical part of the game depending on your intentions.
Overall the game looks very solid so far... I will certainly get this on the ninth and start giving some feedback on my experiences with it.

Are there any plans to implement a religious system into the game? In pretty much every fantasy setting I have ever read/played, race specific religion is present. It may guide a race's actions covertly or openly in some cases.
I am by no means a religious person, but I have always felt that games like this should not ignore a pantheon for the varied races as each race's God(s) are as varied as the races themselves. It can help give that race an "identity" and help with immersion into the setting.

Very impressed with what I saw on the twitch stream.
The scalable world map is superb and, overall, the artwork for the various units is very immersive. Love the idea of different campaign goals for each faction; should really add to re-playability.
The tactical battles looked far more involved than I had dared hope for, with both morale and losses playing their parts and units becoming broken and retreating. I particularly liked the fact that an army didn't have to be totally destroyed to obtain a victory.
The fact that they are played out on a super-detailed map of the relevant province is an excellent idea and that, in the case of a large battle, the site of the encounter is placed permanently on the world map afterwards.
I suspect that what was demonstrated was little more than a taster and that there are many layers to what looks to be an excellent game but one suggestion I would make is to allow the units (both combat, heros and agents) to be individually named.
This would allow the player to identify with, particularly, units that get upgraded so that you can follow them throughout your campaign; cheer for their victories or mourn their loss. Without individual names units will tend to appear rather generic, IMO.
Based on what I have seen, I'm pretty certain I will be buying this.

Thanks for your feedback so far. Naming units is something we would like to add, and I agree, it makes your units that much more special and personal. On the list!
Good Hunting!

You can already name individual units in your realm by clicking on their name while viewing their information.

I feel the combat needs more love, specially the non tactical fights because i supose is going to be the only battle we are going to fight in multiplayer.
I think armies need be a box where you drop units and you can select a hero/general to command it with diferent abilities, for example you can have a general very good commanding infantry with the special ability "stone wall", infantry has a bonus in defensive and other units suffer less damage because are covered by the "stone wall" of infantry.
Other thing i feel is that provinces needs somekind of "local defense" because you are all the time moving troops to defend provinces when is better invest gold in rise a local defense to prevent the tactics of send cheap units to provinces and force enemy move heavy armies all the time to repel raids... i dont know if this is covered in provinces with fortress
Other good point could be add a game mode set in "late age" with less magic and more XVII century war style with keils of orcs, dwarf skirmishers using muskets etc etc.
I find interesting the game because for multiplayer looks good, lets see.
PD: maybe you can consider add a minimap for tactical battles, is something that works fine since Panzer General times
