After the battle of Nicopolis, Caesar marches from Egypt to Asia Minor to confront Pharnaces II. At Zela Caesar is surprised by Pharnaces II and his army, but quickly forms a battleline and defeats him. "I came, I saw, I conquered." This was the message Caesar sent to Rome to announce his victory.
