This week, Star Hammer Lead Designer Anthony Sweet takes a look at some of the thoughts that lead up to the formation of Star Hammer: The Vanguard Prophecy, with a closer look into the WEGO format of strategy games.
Since the very early days of designing Star Hammer: The Vanguard Prophecy, Paul had a clear vision of what how this game would look, sound and play. That game identity has acted like a mission statement for us all throughout development, acting as a touchstone we can always go back to and ask “Is what I’m working on relevant to the game?”
