Well, our new armylists mod (viewtopic.php?f=322&t=54953) is moving forward. We now added Russians, Tatars, Cossacks, Dutch, TYW English.

The enxt installment will include Portugese and Irish armylists. Initially I planned to use these as in the original "Field of Glory:Renaissance" book, but as always more sources would be appreciated. If anyone has any good sources on this period as far as Ireland and Portugese forces are concerned, please let me know.

Oh and comments and suggestions concernign unittypes that you think should be in are always welcome.

Have you looked to see if Osprey publishing has anything helpful? Here is one about a campaign by Cromwell in Ireland in the 17th century. https://ospreypublishing.com/ireland-1649-52-pb

For Irish wars generally, a really good resource is "Irish Battles - A Military History of Ireland" by G.A.Hayes-McCoy -

The final section of George Gush's chapter on Ireland briefly covers the Catholic Confederates -

I'm sure other people will be able to recommend more detailed studies of arms and OOBs for the period in Ireland (AFAIK by mid century the Irish armies were pretty similar to their English counterparts).
