Just downloaded Armageddon and successfully launched game from set up menu. However when trying to launch from desk top icon I get error: Could not open file 'CONFIG/SYSTEM.TXT': Permission Denied. Tried downloading update but was unable to complete due to error. Any suggestions?

Sorry you are having problems. Is this the steam or non steam version.

It is a non-steam version.

Uninstall and reinstall the game, but this time in a different folder than C:\Program Files (x86)\..... Install, for example in, C:\Games\.... Run the game and check if the issue persists.

Thank you for your reply. I may need to correct my previous post. reading through the manual i did come across a reference to Steam, so perhaps I do have the Steam version after all. That being said, i will try your suggestion.
