Are horse with "Impact Pistol" counted as "Impact Mounted"? What else is?

Also what is the effect of being "Shock Troops"? All I could find in the rules is that they can't be broken off from.

"Pistol" and "Impact Mounted" are different combat capabilities. Look at the "Glossary of Combat Capabilities" on page 167 of the rules. A pistol in the impact phase does not count as Impact Mounted. Troops that count as Impact Mounted will be so marked in the "Impact" column of the Army List booklets. A good example is the Early Louis XIV list in the "Wars of Religion" booklet.

Shock troops are mentioned under "Evade Moves" on page 87 of the rules and also on page 149 under "The Effect of Cohesion Levels".
