I download the new "campaigns" from the server, (and they download quickly); but they do not appear on my screen.

If they are SP scenarios they will appear in the list from the "Historical" button.

However, only SP scenarios appear in the "Historical" menu, so:

If they are MP scenarios they will be in the list that appears when you select New Challenge, under the My Challenges tab in the MP lobby.
