Is there a way in the historical scenarios to evaluate how much a challenge each scenario is? I don't see any individual difficulty level for the scenarios...maybe the order? First scenarios regularly easier than later ones?

There is no particular difficulty progression because the scenarios are based on historical battles and are mostly in chronological order. Having said that Stratton at the start of the ECW campaign is relatively easy, and Pilgram-Lomnitz isn't very hard. Seminara, however, is quite hard. Thus we advise trying some skirmishes after completing the tutorials, before progressing to the historical battles. Players acquire skills at different rates. The easiest way to evaluate the difficulty level (for you) of each scenario is to play it. If you find any of the historical scenarios too easy, we suggest raising the difficulty level for the next.

Note that the game does not require you to win a scenario before moving on to the next. In fact you can play them in any order you like.
