Well I can't write in much detail as my opponent is using the army in a comp this weekend and revealing his OOB is not on. :)
However I can describe my army and the general shape of the battle without compromising his army.
My CoA comprised a FC and 2 TC's.
3 x 4 BG's Sup Kn
2 x 4 BG's Lh
2 x 8 BG Drilled, Arm, Off Sp
2 x 6 BG's MF, Sup, Impact, Sw
1 x 8 BG Lf X-bow
1 x 6 LF Bow

Terrain was mostly on my side, open on my left but the two crucial terrain features were a small enclosed field slightly to my left of centre and a steep hill forward in my right flank.

I set up my Spearmen in the gap between the hill and field, but set well back. Both Lh BG's were on my left the Lf Bow I sent into the small field and the X-bow were sent to take a flanking position on the steep hill. One BG of almughavars supported the X-Bow while the 2nd supported the Sp with a view to also moving into the small field.
Two BG's of Kn were set up to cover my open left while the 3rd was initially in reserve covering the right of the Sp and the advance of the X-bow.

On the left I withdrew my Lh as the combination of my opponents Mtd BG's was too much and apart from some harrassing fire my Lh were to do little for the rest of the game. I moved the left most Kn up and withdrew the Lh.
On the right my Almughavars and Kn were double-moving to try to open up my opponents flank, but his reserves were able to get into position in time. I was forced into combat before I was completely ready and my Almughavars got the worst of it and were soon broken. Unfortunately for me as they fled the victorious enemy MF crashed into the flank of my ponderously manouvering Kn and were a double POA up on impact! Disaster loomed, but by committing the general I luckily drew the impact round and then won the melee round against all expectations. Very quickly my disrupted Kn then broke the enemy MF and pursued towards further nervous enemy. :D

In the centre the blocks of heavy foot eyed each other up, until my 2nd group of Almughavars who had so far refused to pass a CMT to move out from behind my Sp finally decided to take the business in hand and burst through a Sp BG and crashed into enemy Sp and Pk. They did not win the impact phase and lost in the melee phase so my centre was starting to look very grim. My uncommitted Sp were then charged by enemy HF inc. a general, but due to me having overlaps, I began to win here. If the Almughavars in the centre could hang on just a bit longer.....which they did. Time and time again they lost combats but refused to drop below disrupted while I was gradually gaining the upper hand against the other HF. I even fed my other disrupted Sp Bg in to gain a 2nd overlap and finally I killed the enemy general in that BG. At that, the enemy HF all dropped a cohesion level and my Almughavars were still fighting but clearly I was going to win the centre.

On my left, the Lh had all got out of the way apart from enemy Lh clearing my LF Bow out of the field, but not without damage. The Kn BG's crashed together, I committed a general and disaster for my opponent, I won all the combats and he went disrupted and lost bases. In the melee phase the same thing happened and very quickly his Kn were fragged or broken and the game was over. :D

So for me the Almughavars were both hero and villain, one BG that should have won, didn't and one that should have been creamed fought it's enemy to a standstill and allowed me to win elsewhere.
My Kn were fantastic, one BG by all rights should have been swept away in the rout of my Almughavars but instead swatted it's opponent with disdain, the other Kn took advantage of my committal of a general to win spectacularly quickly.

I rather like the balance of this list and will try it out again soon.
