Here are some pictures of my FOG 10mm Carthaginian army.
I'll post some close ups of the units when I have some more time
A nice plus of 10mm is that for example an 8 base phalanx battle group has about 4 ranks of troops, the BG sizes in FOG really look like massive armies in 10s

Very nice indeed.
By the way, what is that elephant doing in camp? Is he malingering?

One of the expert Carthaginian vets has found small issue with this elephant and hence the elephant is being kept with the bagagge under special care

, wether this is a serious problem or the beast is just pretending, we cannot say right now

Don't worry, you cannot see from the picture but he is tied and secured

Spectacular. Absolutely wonderful. Everythime I see a 10mm army I really want to do more of them myself.
I would love to be able to base 10mm with flexibility to go from WMA to FOG and back again. WMA whilst nowhere near the quality/depth of a ruleset is a fun short game by comparison to FOG. (NOTE: nothing is wrong with FOG, I love it and am expanding my existing Three 15mm armies, and have planned 2 more). (Also this comment is not intended to hijack the thread).
So in closing, again, a fabulous 10mm army. I love the sick elephant. I have flaming pigs in the roman camp, primarily because I need to expand the size of my camp and had two stands of pigs handy.

if you look in detail at my elephants and cavalry you'll notice that the bases are originally warmaster bases and since they are metal I did extensions on magnetic bases. so for example if you take the numidians out they go to a 40x20 if you put them on their extensions they go to a 40x30.
Same thing with the the army general ( hence the round base )
I know depth is not critical in FOG but since it is not much work to do these extensions I thought it would make things easier.
So basically my army is used for both rules, though I haven't played much warmaster since FOG came out, warmaster is fast and simple, though the richness of the quality of the simulation in FOG really captures all my attention

I also like to play a 2 hour warmaster game when I don't have time for a full nice FOG game.
cheers,
seldon

Great pictures and miniatures. What company did the African Phalanx figures? I haven't really looked into any 10mm lines, but those have me semi-inspired.

Scutarii are Old Glory, everything else ( includes phalanx ) are Magister Militum

I didn't know 10mm could look so good! I've never been good at basing figures, how did you do yours, they look really good?

uf, took me some time to reply
for the basing I used Vallejo's Piedra Pomez paste. You mix it with a dark brown ( schorched earth or something ) or you paint over it once you applied the paste, and then simply drybrushing with beige, bleached bone and white... finally just some patches of grass...
very easy and looks very reasonable...
