Is there a delay of the 3rd book?
Amazon have just sent me a message to say not available until mid May!!
Not too impressed to be honest...who's to blame...Amazon or Osprey?

Hi!
It's Amazon! The french FOG moderator found the companion book 3 on the stand in its local distributor shop...
It's a shame!

I really don't know what is going on with Amazon. Thiy might be cheap but they do seem to be struggling to sort out stock.
Sorted

All fixed it seems...no sooner had they delayed and I complained when they said they'd been re-supplied and I got an e-mail saying it was in the post.
This topic has the answer in the general discussion at the bottom of the page...nowt to do with Slitherine...more to do with our largely marginal choice of hobby and a large book suppliers' ability to judge the required amt of copies to get in!
At least with this experience hopefully Amazon won't let this happen to future releases of the supplements...I do like Amazon and don't just want to start slating them unnecessarily

I can't really understand why Amazon has such stock probs on this as most of us have had it on order for weeks if not months. Bad business if you ask me .....

I've already preco the Ottomans at war companion book due in September.
I hope Amazon will have stock...
I'm waiting for a low priced fourth companion book. Maybe, i'll buy it on Amazon USA. These days, the $ is at a bargain rate change for us, Europeans!

My distributor told me today that he got in my copies of Immortal Fire and the rest of my Rise of Rome.
The good news for Slitherine and bad news for late comers is that the central distribution company (supplier to the distributors) has reported that the Rise of Rome and one other book are alreasy sold out.

I guess the world didn't end, after all.
As I mentioned in another, related thread, I can hardly wait for this to begin all over again for Swords and Scimitars... and then a month later for Legions Triumphant... and then Eternal Empire... and Decline and Fall...
Cheers,
Scott

Mine just showed up today and I've had it on pre-order for a looong time.
On the brightside...the Classical Indian list seems awesome!
