Retiring Movement

From another questions, I understand that LF and LH can retire out of the restricted area of enemy units. However, how far can the LF or LH move? Is it against any troop type? Is this the only time (restricted area movement) that they can retire? Is this some place in the rulebook?

Thanks

It is just a normal turn 180 degrees and move up to full normal move, or a CMT for turn 180, move up to 3 MUs and turn again.

Only restriction is that soome part of the LH/LF BG must remain in front of the enemy BG. (This is to stop them being too nippy)
