On the web site, it seems to have 2 release dates!

If you view the product lists, it says UK Publish Date May 10:

http://www.fieldofglory.com/catalogue/

But if you actually look at the book listing itself, it says April 2008:

http://www.fieldofglory.com/catalogue/13.html

So, which is it? Please tell me it's the April one!!

Cheers

I have the romean republic book.

I had ordered the middle ages / classical greece and crusader books from amazon all to arrive together.

Am I right in assuming the classical greece book is still on schedule for april?

I have cancelled the crusader book from my order to avoid delaying the other books. (I will order it another time)

What's sad though is that in Australia it is slower but much cheaper to buy a copy that is printed on this side of the world then shipped to the US then flown back to here.

Yup, and the supplier has confirmed that the Eternal Empire and the other book, think its the Byzantine one, will be available in May. Thats perfect. Play with my Sword and Scimmitars for a month before I upgrade from middle period Serbs to late period.

got mine too

I've been painting early-middle medieval knights for some time now and have also been doing crossbow and spear without a specific army in mind. They were probably destined to end up as navarese, lusignian cypriots, romanian frank or early french.

Noe that I've read through swords.. they are destined for latin greek and cypriot.

I just have to figure out what an amalghuvar is and what they look like. Would a bloke in a brown smock with a spear do?

For Almughavar figures, try those produced in Australia by eureka miniatures...they are typical "mountain" infantry, which is how I always pictured them!
