Difficult movement

I have another question about advances. An undrilled LH unit is close enough to be charged by a Cavalry unit at five inches. The LH unit wants to wheel and move so must roll CMT for a difficult move and fails. The rules state(p.43) if a unit fails a CMT it do a simple move. What simple move can the LH make?

Another thing to add to common misconceptions.
Moves are either SIMPLE in which case you can make them without a CMT or COMPLEX when you need a CMT.
One type of advance is classed as DIFFICULT, if you check the maneuver chart difficult moves are only complex for other undrilled troops.
The only move light horse need a CMT to make is to turn 180 move upto 3 MU and then turn again. Any other move does not require a CMT as they are all simple.
Just because an advance is difficult it does not necessarilly need a CMT.

My confusion came from the headings on the table. The heading Undrilled Cavalry or Light chariots made it sound, to me anyway, that light Horse was different from cavalry and therefore fell under Other Undrilled. So now, what types/BG fall under Other Undrilled? Thanks[/b]

Okay, I get it now, LH are skirmishers so skirmish, cavalry, light chariot and drilled troops move in their column while elephants, undrilled foot, ect are other undrilled. thanks
