Proximity!

I couldn't find this anywhere in the rulebook.

How close can your battle group get to an enemy battle group when not in combat?
is 0 MUs too close? It must be.
What is the limit?

I think it could matter for pursuit distances, especially if the enemy needs to wheel for evasion.

Thanks.

The normal term is a gnat's todger :)

There is no limit other than not in contact. If the charge and evade are in the same direction most of the time all you ned to worry about is if the charge started within 1MU.

A todger eh?
I can only imagine what that is.

I'll have to mark that on my measuring "stick".

However one should specify that one's gnat's todger is metric or the supposedly superior imperial;-p

Well it really depends on where you are playing. In the UK the todger is metric and I believe the same can be said for the US although I am not sure if our transatlantic cousins actually know what a todger is ;)

On the continent todgers do seem to be of the slightly smaller metric version

And it is worth saying that Pez is from Canada, and while officially metric we remain unrepentantly Imperial.

After all there's only so many ways you can divide a centimeter, while an inch can be magically subdivided down to a gnat's todger, gnat's whisker (as we say here).

In the Southern United States, it's a "tad".
