Congratulations to Mark Adamthwaite from New South Wales Australia who is the winner of our introductory competition. See news on the FoG web site
Mark is in Information Management and his interests are Miniature wargaming, seriously since about age 16 after being introduced to 25mm Napoleonics by friends in his local military modelling group. Since then his experience has solely remained miniature oriented diverging to Ancients, Dark Age / Feudal, Mediaeval, English Civil War, Spanish Succession, Napoleonics, American Civil War, Franco Prussian, WWII and Modern. Even Fantasy and Sci-Fi sometimes!
His other interests include Reading military history (Surpise!), Sci-Fi and Adventure. General and aircraft photography. British GWR & Local Railways. Local History. RC Tanks and Ships.
His Ancient & Mediaeval Armies are:
Carthage / Mid Republican Roman 25mm
Early Imperial Rome / Celts 15mm
Norman 25mm
Late Thematic Byzantine 25mm
Italian Condotta 25mm and under construction Fatimid Caliphate
We congratulate him on giving us the Name the Bishop of Bayeux who fought with William the Conqueror at the Battle of Hastings?
It was of Course Bishop Odon (or Odo) De Bayeux half brother of William
He now needs to give us a decent after action report
