Sorry you are having problems. Which download manager are you using and having this problem with? I've tested the file and it downloads ok for me & installs.
What is the file size after you have downloaded it? What type of connection are you using?
What are the specs of you PC out of interest, not that it should matter!

The download manager I have used included:
1. Flash Get
2. GetRight
but still only get 284MB corrupted zipped game file.
I suspect the file is corrupted already itself. Would you please check it for me?

Can you click properties and tell me the exact file size of the file in bytes - i.e. the number in brackets (NB size, not size on disk). That file size sounds about right.
Have you downloaded & installed any of our demos and did you have any problems with those? Do you have winzip installed?
I have downloaded it and checked it but will do it again now. Other people have downloaded it and installed it, so it looks like the problem is probably with your machine & not the file.
At which point does it fail? Can you tell me exactly what you do and when you get the error message. How much space is on the drive you downloaded it to & ran the installer from? It has to create temporary files of around 300 MB to install & windows uses many MB for page files so is possible you're running out of disk space & thats why it is failing?

The exact file size is: 298,665,984 bytes. Also, there is plenty of space in my harddisk (about 20GB left) and I don't think it is caused by lack of disk space.
I retried many times and I noted that all downloads were finished at 100%. However, all files were still found to be corrupted. Please help!!!

Hi, i've tried it again and it downloads fine for me. It sounds like a problem with your PC downloading, not with the file. I'm not sure what to suggest, but will see if I can find anything.

It could be a disk corruption problem. Have you tried running the disk checker and checking for corrupt sectors?
Cheers

I've checked the logs and it shows that file has not been downloaded multiple times. It looks like the previous version you downloaded has been cached in memory, and that is why the error persists. Make sure you delete the installer you downloaded and try again. Also make sure you do as Phil suggested & scan your drive for problems.

But I retried retried retried retried and found the file downloaded still corrupted. I tried all method you've suggested but still could not extract the file. I purchased any game 'gate of Troy' and found no such problem and I was able to install 'gate of Troy'. Don't know why I cannot make it this time
I attach here the screenshot of the error:

Hope you can help me. Otherwise, I wish to have money back and I would try to buy a boxed version of 'Spartan'.

Hi Ernestto, can you mail the details of your order to
info@slitherine.co.uk and we'll work out what to do. The reason I suggest e-mail is that it is better not to post details of your order to the forum. Sorry for the inconvenience.

It might be worth deleting your internet cache too - just to be sure you are re-downloading the file cleanly...
Sorry you are having problems, especially as Troy has worked fine!
Cheers
