I'm trying a Classical Indian tonight with battle wagons. Just looking at the bits in the rules about battle wagons and I'm at a loss to see how to best use them.
My understanding is that they can't charge, must make a CMT to move and (at least for Indian's wagons) can't shoot. (However they do look really nice )
I'm fighting a pike army and any pointers would be useful!

In FOG Indian bullock or camel carts are classified as:

Battle Wagons - Poor Undrilled Bow - (Cost 11 points)

They can shoot, but don't expect them to be much good.

They were terrible but lots of fun! They manged to move twice in the whole game and never caused a single casualty! They look impressive and I'm sure they could be useful but I'm not quite sure how.

ive used war wagons(oops! battle wagons) now 2 times with my Medieval Germans.. Once as regular then the other as light art.. They are not manuverable.. You have to test them everytime you want to move them.. So the first game i put them on my flank along with a BG of light art.. and they held the flank for quite sometime.. till my opponent with his bosphorians hit them 6 times out of 7 shots! being a group of 2... i needed a 4 or better.. but nope.. i got a 2.. so my 2 BG battlewagons went away.. and so went my protection for my camp. My artillery was gonna die after that.. but we had to call the game cause of time... Battlewagons can be good for flank protection.. I dont really see(outside of the up coming Hussite armies) other uses.. maybe someone can put me in my place and tell me other wise?
