Batttle line q.

If a battle line moves together (with no second move contemplated), do all the BGs have to remain in contact at the end of the move? Or can they split up?
They stay together and in the same formation. If you want to be cleverer you are down to BG movement. The purpose of BLs is to allow rapid and widespread simple movement.
