Ok, next question. I know battle groups are typically two ranks deep but in light of the rules showing them going into column, is it possible to also put a BG in line with only a single rank stretching further?

I know there is no obvious reason to doing this because you don't get as many men into combat, but I just wanted to know if it is a legal formation
