I thought the demo graphics were excellent, but I would want to turn the numbers off as I found them distracting.

In battle you can press the Escape key to bring up the options menu & turn on/off the damage numbers at any time

I think the numbers are a good idea, but thats just me...

I like the numbers too, the color code gives me an idea of how the unit is performing...
