My rating was just resetten to 1500. What happened?

I lost all my points too!!! How we can solve this problem?

Mine was reset too!

Back to square one. 0 0 0 0 1500.

Issue is resolved now.

Well, losses have been restored, but not the wins, and the rating is still 1500. Very odd.

My rating was restored once, but now it's back at 1500 again, though turns played is correct.

We got a bunch of reset reports in the last few days. No change in anything at our end, so best guess is a Game Center issue. Really frustrating, but not much we can do about it until it's reproducible - we can't debug Apple's Game Center API's

Any advice for the players? Continuing with the games? Will there be more unexpected rating resets?

My rating didn't fully reset...but last week, I lost about 20 points off my rating for no reason. I have noticed that several opponents have had their ratings reset to 1500 (OMG!!!) and their turns played reset to 0. What's up with that? Seems like a big problem, considering how much time many of us put into this game. Anyway, I was curious about how the game centre point problems have affected our standings. So I logged into Game Center. Much to my disappointment, there has been quite a shake up in the top 25 rated players. I think many guys lost their spots.

As a result of the game centre problems, my position in the standings went up, despite the fact that I lost points. I feel bad for the guys who lost their positions. I submitted a report to Apple...but don't know if the situation will be fixed.

Anyway, I'm nervous about another potential shake up in the points and standings. Does anyone know what's going on?

Now almost all ratings are restored, but a few (including mine) are still reset to 1500. Is there anything you could do at Shenandoah, like placing a complaint with Apple?

I dropped more than 10.000 positions in the rating, which will take months to restore

Did anyone on this thread submit a bug report via the link shared above? I did not see an evident pathway for issues related to Game Center. There was a board to bang your head against, however.

Is anyone from Shenandoah contacting Gamecenter/Apple?

If this happens again, this of course deadly for the game.

We are not happy about it at all. Apple knows, but can't imagine it is high on their priorities ATM

Just to say my rating still remains reset. Really not happy as I'd reached the top 100 and now pushed down to 10,000! Ratings are a big motivator to the multiplayer.

It's also happened on Desert Fox but not to non-Shenandoah games I play. I know its being said it's an Apple problem but just wondering if this was backed up somewhere i.e. If the developers have access to the rankings data?

Shenandoah operates no servers related to ratings: it all goes exclusively through Game Center.
