Can you do it? I must really suck cuz for me the Axis is really hard. The restrictions on moving across rivers and such......I just dont see how the Axis can win.

OK...so I can see how the Axis can win but how does THIS work???? When is Victory checked? At the end of the turn or the beginning? Ok so the rules say at the end of the day. Well, I checked the impulse before the Dec 26 day ended. I passed, the Allies passed and I had 40 VP's. Axis Victory level is +37. Shouldnt I have won? At the beginning of Dec 27 I showed 37 VP's. Even if calculated on the points starting the next day I STILL should have won, shouldn't I have? What am I missing here?
