Just wondering if it's possible to win on turn 2? I have captured Moscow plenty of times on turn 3 but not turn 2. Anyone out there done it?

Also, how common is a turn 3 win?

Finally, I've noticed if I don't win by turn 5 I won't win until turn 10-12. How often is anyone winning on turn 6-10?

Finally #2, I've noticed if I start off killing it on my first couple turns I will inevitably lose some super one sided battle that should go my way. It seems like the ai "notices" the whomping I'm giving and evens things out. I know that sounds crazy but I swear I've noticed this.

It is theoretically possible to capture on t2, but the Soviets would have to cooperate - a bit like a fool's mate in chess.

Sounds like you're an experienced player -- you might enjoy play vs a human on game center more than thrashing the poor AI!

I have captured Moscow on Turn 2 and have it saved on my iPad. Soviets moved 2-pip Elite infantry into Zvenigorod from replacements, 5-pip elite tank from Volokolmansk moved in, eliminated inf, and occupied Moscow. Ver 1.16 iPad.

I've just managed a Turn 5! First time! PLayed against Konev a few times and then the last few have been against Zhukov. Just punched through the middle with my panzers and killed Soviet units before they could get replacements.
