Is there a way to get an opponent to play a game that they have abandoned or risk a forced resignation? Seems like lots of times if I am getting the better of an opponent they wont resign, they just walk away from the game. If you have played me online, at least you know I won't hesitate to throw in the towel.

For matches started with version 2.0, they have a week to make a move.

They both need to be running 2.0 or just one player? If just one, which one?

The match needs to be started with 2.0. I’m not entirely sure what happens with a mixed version scenario.

It would be great if Game Center gave us that option.

But sending a chat message from within the game is the next best thing, and I believe it actually does go through Notification Center.

This problem is driving me nuts at the moment. I have four active games and have been fortunate enough to be winning in them all. In three of the games the other players have just stopped playing and have clearly thrown in the towel.

Other than the 7 day time out (which hasn't occurred on any of my games due to two of the games being started before v2.0), I wish Shenandoah would introduce some other game end option, perhaps where the current VP status is used to decide a winner or a draw. Without this it is very frustrating!!! I for one always play through my games to completion, as a courtesy to the other player, even if it is obvious that I have lost.

It's really frustrating. Wish there were a good way to fix retroactively, but haven't found one that's also fair to people on vacations, etc. One of the reasons we introduced the "Turns Played" info was to give at least some indication of follow through.
