Hi ,

Ive noticed in two different games now that if I have Axis Units in Africa (Italien and German ) before Paris is taken, the minute Paris is taken then the next round Algeria is formed all of my Units in Africa disapear ? I had taken Tunis and Algeria (and troops occupying the cities) and had other Units almost in Gibraltar , then they were all gone ? Is this normal ? Just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this issue ? I have 1.04 cdv (german) version.

Yeah, it IS "normal". My take is that what happens when France falls the program will remove ALL units it finds in Tunisia/Algeria/Morocco (i.e. it doesn't check the nationality of the unit, just its location), then it will place the "neutral country" forces into TAM. I suspect that during playtesting, no one made any attacks into TAM since everyone knew it was going to switch upon the fall of France and there wasn't any real need to do so. oops...
