Hi Everyone,

Most Round 1 games are in. If you are still finishing your games, please complete them and post to the Round 1 thread. Finish those up today if possible!

Either way, it is time to start Round 2.

The time has come to start Round 2 of the Pocket Tournament.
Below you will find the match-ups. Here's the drill:
1. Each match-up will send Game Center invites to each other.
2. The Player on the left invites the player on the right to two matches of Race to the Meuse, one as each side.
3. Once your games are started, please post here to confirm.
4. Once a match is complete, the winner posts a screenshot of the end of game below along with who won. The loser will post to confirm.
5. All matches must be completed by November 10.
6. Any questions or concerns, please contact brad(at)shenandoah-studio.com
7. The full rules can be found here.

Here are the match-ups:

I hope to see your results below soon!

Jarling74 vs esparver73 6-0

I.e. Jarling74 win both as axis and as allies.

Once again, pictures are too large to get uploaded, but some effort might be put into it if needed.

Dugrim 3 vs Ralpher 3

Both of us reach the Meuse as Axis.

I am starting to think that RTTM is decided by how many turns you have more than anything else. With 12 and 14 turns in the first round, it is pretty much decided that the Germans will reach the Meuse--especially if the commandos show up (a 2/3 chance). Here's hoping future rounds won't be the same scenario.

Hi Jean-Luc (jaels),

I'm (Winterkeep) your matchup for this round 2.
Just want to inform you that I'm on european+1 time (Sweden), and that my best gametime would be in the evening.
Say from 8 pm to 12 pm (Swedish time). That would be 2 pm to 6 pm for you (Eastern US time) if I counted correctly.

Looking forward to good games.
/Lars

Two great games against Edoardo. I got lucky in the first game playing the Axis when Edoardo cut my supply and I managed to fight back and got a retreat.
Game 1 Map.jpg
I got lucky again in game 2 defending with the allied. Edoardo only got 1 out of 3 victory in the surprise attack. This did allow me to slow him down defending bridges. He did manage a good attack on Eupen with a breakthrougth to Spa.
Game 2 Map.jpg
Thank you for two great games.

Result: Gabriel Hardy 6 - Edokaesar 0

I confirm the results.
I wish to thank Gabriel for these great matches and for his correctness(the unluckiest matches I've ever played)

josephbolt 4 - Shimmen 1

Game 1 (josephbolt - Allies, Shimmen - Axis)

Axis got off to a slow start with some unlucky rolls and a fast moving day. Was able to get defenses in place and a little (lot of) luck helped me hold on to Bastogne.
map1_2.jpg
The opposite for Axis here, slow day allowed me to move everything along with great outcomes in the first battles. I thought I had this easy but supply got cut off at very end (nice play!).

Great games Shimmen!

Hi All,

We will reveal rankings once the three rounds are complete. It's kind of hard to do it mid-way as there are many people in different spots.

Thanks,
Brad
