February Update : Buggy!!!!

Thanks again for the update, the ability to message alone is a big plus. BUT.... major, major bugs in there. I just lost a very good game in progress due to them. Allow me to explain.
We got to the end of the 21st --day in progress when we updated -- and the next day began with the Axis moving panzers from Werbomont to two different areas for attacks. First, the combat screen disappeared at the end of the combat but left a big black shadow where it was obscuring the center of the board, which wouldn' go away, even though the "Close" button was still visible. Second, 9th Panzer appeared out of nowhere in Bertrix instead of Prum! (And there was no Axis unit there or even close to there.) Close the app, and re-open. 9th Panzer is back in Prum, but now it's the 23rd, the entire day of the 22nd just didn't happen! An Allied reinforcement came on in Arlon, despite the fact that it was controlled by the Axis. Also Allied reinforcements came on in Herbeumont over-stacked and out of supply, both of which were wrong.
Lost a very tense and exciting game to this. Hoping it isn't going to happen when I switch days on all my other in-progress games! Please look into it. I filed an error report from within the game which contains the same position as the screenshot below, so best of luck sorting it out.

Ouch -- sorry. We're working on a fix and will get it out ASAP.

As near as we can tell, this can happen when one player is running the 1.1 update and the other player is on an older build.

Noticed another major bug in my current game. The time bar in the end-of-turn window (after you hit Commit) and the actual time (shown in the upper left screen menu) are way out of synch. I was watching the time bar which was reading at 1:30 pm, then looked at the upper left window which had it at 5:30 pm! It seemed the latter was correct, because the turn ended after my next move. Bizarre.

I'm afraid that's not the case, David. My opponent was also on the new update, I know because we were messaging each other prior to the bug eruption.

Ah, you’re right, this is something else. We have some thoughts on this one (actually those two, since I don’t think the black shadow is related to time), but have not been able to reproduce.

I think I encountered another bug in the 1.1 update.
Just won a Battle of the Bulge Axis game, based on points. Since I cut off all supply lines to a large part of the Allied army, I was looking forward to using the new 'continue game' option to finish the full battle and defeat as much of the Allied forces as possible.
Unfortunately, whereas Allied units lost defensive and moving capabilities after more than one turn without supplies before I won the game, they were only unable to move after the end of the game, but seemed to have regained their defensive capabilities.
No screenshot available unfortunately, but I'm convinced all supply lines were cut off to these forces.
Anyone else have this issue?

This is not a bug.
Starting on Dec. 23rd, USAAF is back and gives limited supply to any cut off allied forces.
So that the encircled unit still cannot move nor attack, but can still defend in any case.

Thanks! Never really noticed it I guess because I never plan to slowly take out all the cut off forces.

Got the black shadow post-combat window bug again in another game, again on the 23rd. Both players on the new update. Sent in an error report. Even after finishing the turn it won't go away.

Wow, I got it in one game, and now I've got that damn shadow in the middle of all three games I have in progress! What is up with that?

Sorry this happened to you. Fortunately it is a graphical anomaly that does not appear to effect gameplay (other than be really annoying). What you can do to fix this is to Force Close Bulge and restart.
1) Press the Home Button to Return to suspend the game
2) Double Press the Home button and open the Suspended Games Tray
3) Press and Hold on the Battle of the Bulge Icon in the Tray
4) Press the "X" that appears over the Bulge Icon
5) Press Home Button to close the Tray
6) Start Bulge
7) Get back to winning games!
Thanks for your patience we are already working to remedy this issue!

I can confirm that I've seen this bug too ... not sure if it's related to version mis-match, as I was playing a random GameCenter opponent, and couldn't get him to respond to messages I was sending. Whether that means he was ignoring me, or not on 1.1 I don't know.
I've included a screen shot of an instance where you can see that the Germans have only activated/moved two spaces, and the end-of-turn pop up box said it was only 12:30 ... but you can see that the "TIME" indicator shows that the 16th is almost over (17:30 it said I think, when you touch it), and indeed, the day ended prematurely with the next Allied move.

I've experienced apparent premature dusk in every multiplayer game started since the update: 4 for 4. I'm putting it down until a fix is available. I hope it won't take too long.
Also, I've no idea if version mismatch is to blame. Two opponents retired without comment when it happened; the other two ignored or couldn't receive my comments.

Hi PAL, sorry that you're having trouble enjoying the game. Would you kindly
Submit a Bug Report. Since you have encountered the issue so frequently, please give us as much information as you can regarding what you were doing before it happened. Thanks!

Hey, PAL ... we are friends on gamecenter (I'm azdaddyo)... I will send a game request and we can try to get this to happen in a game against each other. If we are both on 1.1, then at least we can maybe confirm that it's a version mismatch error or not, and if it does happen we can submit a bug report.

Hi guys,
Again we're sorry you're having a bad time but I just wanted to emphasise how important it is to us for you to send in a proper bug report. It automatically includes a saved game and screenshot. The saved game allows us to recreate the exact circumstances of the bug and helps us to isolate the cause. Even with the very detailed reports from our testing team, without a saved game it's extremely difficult to get to the root cause of an issue.
Information on reporting a bug can be found here
http://www.shenandoah-studio.com/Forum/ ... ?f=11&t=43
Cheers,
Pat.

^I would like to as I enjoy Bulge.Unfortunately the game crashes to the home page when I attempt the bug report "finger dance." I don't have the default email app configured; I prefer Gmail.
Thanks Wargamer11. I'll take you up on the game invite. If we encounter the bug, I'll leave the report up to you.

Oops, this debug feature will indeed crash if you don’t have an account configured.
