Hi! I'm glad to get this game, which is so logical and interesting. I bought Spartan game in Beijing, China. I don't know why I have to run this game in 16bit of color. In 32bit color mode, the game will displayed abnormal. Can I run it with 32bit of color if I use a patch? But I didn't find any patch for Simplified Chinese version. Could you help me? Thanks!

I'm pretty sure the Chinese version was up to date, though they may have done the translation of the text when it was still 1.015 and that may appear on the main menu screen. The colour depth of your desktop will only matter if you play the game in a window. If you play full screen it will not matter. The game works in 16 bit so running in 32 bit would not improve the way it looks anyway.

The version displayed on the main menu is 1.009. I don't know how to set the program to run in full windows. I right click the shortcut on the desktop. In the property of the shortcut, I saw it run in normal windows. But other two choices is min windows and max windows. Could you help me?
I use 32bit depth color, because I also use my computer to run other program.

Can you check that you have the latest drivers for you graphics card. Also let us know which card you have.

I'm using nVidia MX440 64RAM. My driver is 6.14.10.6177. I didn't install the latest version, because when I tried driver 6.6, Need For Speed 8 (Underground 2) run abnormally. The car became blank. By using driver 6.14.10.6177, I didn't get similar problem with other program.

Can you try the latest drivers and see if they help and what the problem are you seeing. We're not clear what the problem is.

I tried the latest version, 71.89, for Geforce. It didn't help. I want to show you the picture of the game when it appear abnormal. How can I do that?[/img]

I have saved three pictures in JPEG format. One is the abnormal game main menu. Other two are my old and new graphic drivers' info windows. How can I give it to you?

I use @126.com to comunicate with my families who are living in Canada. They can receive my mail. But Bible Broadcast Net cannot receive my mail from @126.com neither.

I received it and replied to it. The problem looks like your desktop. It must be in hi colour/16 bit.

Hmmm.... it doesn't look you are running in a window though so thats weird. Can you try and force the game to run in a window. Edit the user.txt file in your data dir & add the line "Fullscreen 0". Make sure teh desktop is 16 bit & at 1024x768 resolution or higher. Let us know what happens.

The pictures I sent to you are caught in 32bit depth and 1024*768 defination. I am not willing to change my desktop into 16bit depth. Because it looks ugly. The "Fullscreen 0" is already in the file, user.txt. Can you give me a more practical solution? I think you may need to publish another patch for this problem.
