An idea to keep folks playing.

So I have been playing almost non stop since I downloaded the game...that shows how good the game is. I have a suggestion though when you head to updates.

At the end of a successful campaign the victory screen has a picture of a soldier and either an Iron Cross or a Bronze Star. In my best Axis victory of 116 VP's I got the Iron Cross, I also got the same Iron cross for a smaller VP win.

What if, you put various medals on that screen based on total VP's. for example, Bronze Star, Silver Star, DSC, LOM, and so on. Same for Axis, but with various Iron Cross Awards (clusters, swords and clusters)

Just a thought, as it would maybe be a fun way to keep people playing once you beat both scenarios, and both generals. I just beatPaton and that was tough and some recognition might be fun.

We're planning on doing something like that fairly soon. Right now we have GameCenter support enabled, but only two achievements you can actually earn. We're planning to add more soon. Naming them after medals is a good idea- I like the idea of an achievement board, but only if they're being given for accomplishing something substantial in the game. There'll be no "Achievement: Moved a Panzer" in the game if I have anything to say about it...

I would not pander to basic achievements, but was thinking for victories come medals, or some kind of recognition for winning big.

Can I put in a request for "The little panzer that could" acheivement? It'd be an award to a player that is able to drive off the 150th in a GC game? I saw it happen once in play playtesting and there was much rejoicing. :D

I like the idea but feel my medal tally will be low!
But is this only for AI games as human games could be thrown.

Hmm, seems to me that earning a victory against a person is more worthy of an achievement.

We actually plan different achievements for winning against AI and people.
