I noticed that the registration for the forum automatically activates the account. You might want to look into some sort of administrator activation so that you can check the accounts and also to slow down spammers.

Good idea -- for now we'll leave it open to make it as easy as possible for users to get started. When spam/abuse gets going we'll tighten it up.
