is it possible in scirmish mod to give my army more Points than the enemys or give myself an advance anyway.

in game no, with cheating yes, how to cheat is another thing altogether, as it involves editing files

Thats a bit sad. I must confess i was very happy when the game came out. But now i stoped playing the campaigns becourse they are unwinnable for me.
And i dont want to play a Scenario 1000 times to win it.
Armagedon is for that Point far better. In the easyest Level you can win every game and you can raise the difficulty Level step by step.
Same for pike and shoot or drumms of war.
It would be great to have the possibility to give my army more Points than the enemys , that would solve the Problem.

using the editor you can do as you like tbh

Actually not to disagree with anyone but in Skirmish you can. Do the following: Start HELL > Click Skirmish > set your options > click advanced >in the middle, 6 and 7 options down are Force Points for Order and Demons. You can adjust either side up or down as desired. Here's the screenshot:

Thanks for help, but maybe ist my bad english. What does not work for me is, for exemple, giving my army 300 Points and the enemys army 200 Points.
But ist not so important. Even though i cant win the Scenarios for the Moment they are very entertaining, thats what matters.

It might have been the language barrier (no problem, my fault as much as yours for not understanding). When you mentioned "scirmish" I thought you meant Skirmish (see above). If that was the case, you can change the army points of each side however you want per my instructions above.

If you meant the campaign missions then you can only do so by editing the game files directly per zakblood_slith.

Yes, skirmish was what i meant. But ist not possible to Change the Points seperately for each site, whatever i try.

I just played with it; it doesn't allow what you want to do so my mistake, sorry about that. If you change the army size to custom, it does allow you to assign any sized force you want but it keeps both army sizes the same. It doesn't allow you to make them different. By default the AI's side gets a force point advantage, so you can erase that but you can give yourself a point advantage.

Thanks iron fist for spending your time to help me. But as i said ist not a real problem. I love the game like it is. From my standpoint the graphic and the gameplay are great. If i were the gamemaker i would give the player the possibility to have a biger army than the enemys to make the game easyer like
it is in Armageddon..
I see i"m getting better from game to game and on day i will know all tricks to win.
But not every Player has such a Patience and will maybe give up the game in frustration.

with altering the sliders in skirmish mode, altering the points, giving yourself reinforcement and the other side none, you can make it easy or a cake walk without even using cheats or the editor

Sorry, but how should i set this , give myself reinforcements and the other site not ? As my knowledge i can only giving reinforcements for both sites.
Sorry i cant see a way to give myself an Advantage in scirmish mod.

I couldn't differentiate the reinforcements either.


Micha I am right there with you, I love the game. I play it all the time usually side by side with a BA2 game, and I can say I prefer HELL. I hope the Developer has continued plans for the game since I feel it is a good game. At least one more patch to fix and rebalance some stuff in need of it.

Oh and no problem trying to help you out. I am just sorry I couldn't.

i've never even tried skirmish mode tbh, i did the beta, played the campaigns to death, and really enjoyed it as a game, support is good and are very happy with it, will be interesting to see how it develops if it gets any more content or dlc's addons etc over time

and also wish i could have helped out more with some better answers

However thank you for help. As i said i have fun even though i cant win for the Moment. But learning the game is maybe the better way than trying to make it easyer. We will see.

i cheat alot with the editor, so i always win

but it;'s my game so i play it as i like, i have altered alot and have made a few levels myself, shame others don't seem to have done as the editor is for me the best part and the most fun

For me it is the co-op multiplayer. I have two friends also playing HELL so I'm going through the campaigns co-operatively with each of them. One of them also has BA2 so I'm doing the same there. It is based on that experience I say I enjoy HELL more. In my opinion better mission design and combat mechanics.

agree, it's a shame others haven't tried it too, as for those or us who have, its a fun game, just need more of us here playing it

I think i got it now, won the first 3 Scenarios. Hard game but when you know whats important ist super fun.
