New Updates and the Epic Mod

Martlew1 has done a great job on bringing the epic scale to this game by changing the base unit icons to make them reflect the mass of infantry and numbers of tanks and the huge size of a titan in comparison. If you haven’t seen it yet go over to Steam and search for Epic Mod in the community forums

This is a fantastic mod and it really helped my immersion in the game, I must confess that I was about half way through the campaign and it wasn’t really that gripping, as soon as I downloaded Martlew1’s mod I was back into it again.

I would like to know whether this mod could be picked up by the developers and worked into the main game?

I realise that there is already a beta underway so maybe not now, however if it could be done into the future that would be great.

I don't think its going to happen in the short to mid term as it requires quite a lot of work and puts the responsibility on us to maintain it which we cant really take on.

Please don't; this mod adds no gameplay improvements, it just makes some units very tiny. While I understand what the creator is aiming for, I much prefer the original unit graphics.

@IanMcNeil Thanks for your response, I appreciate it would be a lot of work but please keep it in mind.

@Nexusno2000 I understand your point of view, but I feel that by changing a single large unit icon to a number of smaller icons it gives the illusion of volume and better demonstrates the scale of the Warhammer 40k conflicts, particularly the Armageddon conflict.

Overall I still think the game has a great future and can't wait for it to be released on iPad as I have been really enjoying Panzer Corps on the iPad as well.
