suggestion re units that flee combat

As it stands, units which flee combat run their full movement allowance, then, in their turn, return to firing range to shoot up their attackers. This can be repeated over and over, with the attacker unable to inflict any damage, while the fleeing unit repeatedly attrits its enemy.

Not only is this frustrating for the attacker, it seems unrealistic. In other situations, e.g., pursuit, units lose their movement for the following turn. I'd like to see this implemented for units which flee from combat also. Perhaps, such units could be allowed to reface in their turn, but allowing them to close the distance with their attackers and fire, only to run away again when the attackers take their turn seems silly.

Certainly worth considering.

take that away and the Ottomans will likely become an unplayable army. Falling back and shooting up your attacker is the only way I have found to successfully play them. They certainly can't stand toe to toe with most enemy cavalry.
Just another thought on the topic.
