River hexes

In Poland there are small rivers like the San and Narew and big rivers like the Bug river. Is it correct that my Panzer IIIE can't enter a small river hex while the Panzer II types can?

Nope. Any unit can enter a small river but only bridging engineers may enter a large river (unless it is frozen). Keep in mind that units on river hexes are quite vulnerable.

Thanks for your answer, proline. I started Poland again and now was it possible. Strange, I'm sure in my previous game I had 2 tanks next to a river, both had enough fuel and the Pz II could enter the river hex and the Pz III could not...

It takes all your movement to enter a river hex. If you start next to the river you can enter it, if not then you have to move next to it then move on it the next turn.

Yes, the same as in PG. They (the PZ II and PZ III) were both next to the river at the start of the turn, had enough supply, but the Pz III could not enter the river hex and the Pz II could. I didn't save that game but it happened several times in that game. Anyhow, I did the battle again and now the Pz III could enter the river hex.
