hi and good afternoon everybody :)

i do have a problem. i installed rsm redux 1.20a for new sounds. after starting the game with my actually save-game i can not hear any different to the sounds sofar.

in gme the mod is marked as "actived" . but there is a different to the other mod - elite unit. this letters are pale-grey. the colour of the redux is dark black.

the same for jax historical medals.

and i do have a problem with the elite unit mod. for the unit ss sig 33 ii (sf) there is no picture. so what would happen if i bought one? do i have a invisible unit on the map??

thx to everyone

pretty weekend

faceless :)

I am not sure what the different colours indicate, but do the mods work on their own when you only activate a single one? It could be that there is a conflict between the mods, sometimes they cannot work together.

To be sure, after you activate a mod, try to start a new campaign or scenario. If you continue from a saved game a lot of files aren't loaded. This can cause problems and make it seem the mod doesn't work. Files like the equipment file are only updated when a new game is started.

It seems the file for the unit is missing. In my experience, it can cause problems (crashes) depending on what causes it. So I would not buy it to be sure.

EDIT: I checked, it could be a file that has the wrong name? If you navigate to the mod folder, and look in "\Elite Units 1.21\Graphics\Units" there are two files for the elite sig33 (SE and SS version), one is called "SE_sig33.png" and the other is "SE_sIG_33.png". The second file looks unused, so you could try and rename it to "SS_sig33.png".

You could try to post in the mod's thread, it will be useful for the author (airbornemongo101) to know if something doesn't work as it should.

If you buy a unit without a icon the game will crash when you try to use it. You don't need a big picture.
Mods don't work very well or crash with saved games.
Sound mod will work with saved games.

Try the Total Realism Mod, it comes with an enhanced Redux Sound Mod and working icons.
