Is there a list of what the changes are in gameplay mechanics - ie not gui stuff but how combat is done - I notice some units have Shock for instance and I don't know what that is.

A manual would be useful.

I like the new Gui though some things move too fast - like routs

The Manual needs to be updated, as anyone could imagine. And it will be, as soon as the time permits it.

The shock ability was always in FoG(RB), is not a new added concept. Have a look at the old manual. Even if outdated (especially the interface/controls), most of the things in it are still relevant (rules, gameplay).

As a potential buyer I'm not able (maybe my fault sorry) to find a clear list of gameplay and graphics improvements coming with the new engine, also some new screenshot would be appreciated...

A (partial) list with FoG(U) new features can be found in latest build's thread: [BLD] v2.3.00.1014 (RB)(mod) release build.

New screenshots will also be added to all FoG web store pages.
