I loaded Armageddon using serial ID onto a Levono Laptop running Windows 7 Professional Version 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601
i5 CPU M 420 @ 2.4GHZ 4GB RAM

I updated with 1.03 patch

I could not take screen shot as screen went blank and computer rebooted. When I try to open the saved file the system crashes.

I am a rookie and not a computer whiz.

Please, zip the savegame and you could upload this file.
In 1.02 I saw the crash and could repeat such a crash.
Is the savegame from 1.02?
Is it a savegame made after the end of the mission in the "Review map"?

I was running version 1.03.
The shutdown happened as I clicked on a unit during a turn.

I just tried another turn using the same campaign saved file and it crashed again.

I was moving a legion unit when it happened.

Please open the game installation folder an rename the subfolder named Audio as _Audio and check if the issue persists.

I changed the audio folder to include the dash and still had the problem occur. What next?

And can you start a new campaign, save games and load them without a crash?

Yes. I can load the file saved from a current campaign and it will work for awhile. I might go through a few scenarios and then I move a unit and then it freezes up and crashes

Please try installing in a different folder.

Reloaded in Programs/Warhammer and the same crash happened mid way through the first round of the first campaign...

If you haven't already tried, try turning the volume to 0 and see if this helps.
