Multiplayer tactics

Hi there, played only two multiplayer games so far, so maybe i'm missing something obvious, but anyway:

I'm having trouble dealing with firedrakes as orks, especially in terrain with lots of cover. They melt pretty much anything at 0-1 range regardless of cover, like having about equal engagements with that deff dread squad with 7 strength 6 melee attacks and ghazkull's squad, they also obliterate mega armored nobz even in buildings which i thought should be ok against them, while their armor makes shooting at them with shootas and big shootas kinda pointless. I guess on an open terrain a lots vehicles or mega armored nobz shooting at max range might work, but thats kinda unorky. :) Sanguinary guard are probably pain to deal with too, but at least they cost 300(?) more.

Another tactics i'm at loss what to do against is a bunch of mortar squads grouped together in urban areas. Pretty much can do nothing against that with infantry at close range as its just dies before landing a shot, and long range shots are blocked by terrain. So gotta probably bring a lots of artillery against that, which, again, is kinda unorky and not very effective with orc's accuracy (strength 7 wagons with suppa-kanons shooting at anti-tank support in the forest doing 4 damage, lolwut?).

Also on ork vehicles: What's effective anti-infantry vehicles they got, that also can live through some mortar shells? Seems like killblasta is ok, but range 2 is asking to get a rocket from anti-tank support. Thought that deff dread with 6 melee attacks gonna kick ass, seeing as it one-shoted me a warhound in campaign, but its armor is meh as it turns out. :(

Well, Firedrakes are kind of OP for their cost, so it's not strictly a MP issue. They are just suprt-effective for their price when it comes to those situations you describe.
