I don't understand the experience system in Legion Arena. It's particularly true with the Legate (chief) sometimes he kills lots of ennemies and earns no XP, and sometimes he earns 50 XP or more and I don't know why.

For the other troops, is there a ratio like ennemies killed/losses (or something like that) used to calculate their XP at the end of a battle ??

How does the experience system works ??

You only earn xp for killing troops that are tough enough. As you get tougher, you require tougher opponents to gain xp. The Legate probably wont gain any xp for killing peasants from the start, but as he levels up may not even gain xp for killing Militia. Hope that clears it up.

Part of the way i built up my Skirmishers to Level 42 in the beta was to have them kill a ton more enemies than anything else, ended up with some absolutely beast skirmishers
