Hi everyone

Is there a way to view the full Ork unit stats (such as in the purchase menu for the imperial guard/ space marines) in the game? I would love to know Ork stats such as view range but cant find a way to access them in game.

On that matter, I would have expected this information to be available for all races from the main menu - as it is you have to use the in game purchase menu to view space marine units, this seems like a simple and obvious inclusion to me.

I assume Ork stats are available in multi-player? But it would be nice to be able to browse them independently - for me this a large appeal of the game/ franchise.

Wabosses, the great Thrakka, and all war bikers have 4 spotting range.
You can reliably take it that the average fn orc infantry then has 3, though I see many have 2 spotting.
Orc other vehicles have 2 spotting, though I see many have even only 1.


You are right about the need ingame to see the spotting range.
But I gave you these values for you to play safe

I think it could be nicely addressed with a key shortcut to see the details of any unit (like an access to its "purchase menu view"), right from the map.
Though a full library could be nice too.

Are you sure about the warboss being 4? From my experience I was guessing it to be 3....

A shortcut key for in-game unit stats is a great idea, it seems madness to me that all this information is not available - how can you plan a strategy without it?

Personally, I'd also love an army builder/codex type thing where you play around with different army builds and see all stats for all races...

To figure that out, you have to see that "60" (for Warboss) and "60" (for Thrakka) are their melee accuracy.
60 40 40 and 60 40 60 are for Melee Acuracy / Ranged Accuracy / Defense values.
8 and 10 are their initiative, so 4 is their Spotting, and 4 is their Movement Range too.
0 is their movement type, it is leg infantry.

Or you can keep the unittypes.whdat open in a text editor and alt-tab the game whenever you need to look something up.
Neither method makes for a particularly pleasant singleplayer experience though and it really would help if all stats were shown whenever you mouse over a unit.
