CAPCOM and astronaut skills

Currently the game shows only the leadership skill for astronauts and CAPCOM (the astronaut who sits with the flight controllers and talks to the astronauts in space). Does this mean only leadership skill is used for the CAPCOM? I know that while the game only displays leadership for nauts in space, they use different skills at different times, for example Gemini or Apollo has no airlock (IIRC, I mostly play Russian), so astronauts would need EVA skills during docking and transfer, while Voshkod has an airlock, so while Pilot Leonov needs EVA to do his spacewalk, his commander cosmonaut does not. Which is why you put your best EVA on pilot slot, and can put a high leadership, low EVA naut on cosmonaut slot.
I know this from beta and browsing forums, but all the game now shows is the total naut contribution on each step, not the skills used. So for Voshkod Space walk it would be 50% Cosmonaut 50% Pilot and spacewalker, but I want to know the relative importance of the skill. Is it possible to have the information displayed in beta back?
For example, while Leonov is space walking, how much of success is riding on his EVA skill, compared to fitness or leadership? I think even science plays a part in that step, but I don't know how much. What I do know is that Soviet Lunar crews need both to have high leadership, high piloting, and the walker needs extremely high eva and decent science, and fitness is always a must. The Lunar orbiter cosmonaut needs leadership, piloting, and fitness, but can skimp on eva and science.
Americans need Armstrong to have skyhigh leadership, eva, fitness and some science, while Buzz can go with lower leadership (but needs to be an ace pilot). I think Neil can skip piloting? Collins would need high leadership due to the extended solitary confinement and obviously needs to be an ace pilot too. If I read the manual correctly, all three needs some eva due to the depressurization occuring in one step.
In short this is complicated. So is the lack of information WAD?
