I have seen range 48 on many weapons, power sword, choppa, hunting lance and flamer. And this is all in just the first campaign mission.

Apologies if this has already been posted, but I have not seen it.

Seems to be an issue with melee units. Thankfully it doesn't cause any damage, it appears to just be a display issue. Thanks for the report though, we got 1 more patch scheduled before the end of the year, so we'll see what can be done about this!

I got confused by this too.

By the way I noticed that 6 Heavy Bolters & 8 Heavy Bolters weapons system have the same stats.
Range 1-3
Attack Strength 40
Armor Piercing 0%
Rate of Fire 5
Accuracy 85
Accuracy loss per Hex -10

I posted here since I find it too minor to create a new thread for it.

The game also falsely shows always 85 accuracy for all weapons since 1.02.

1. Display bug of range for melee weapons

Aaaah !
Thanks for having posted this.
I lost a whole hour trying to figure out why my Wych Blades were displaying a 48 range in my mod...

2. Wrong "85" accuracy of weapons is displayed

Lost another hour trying to see why all weapons displayed a 85 accuracy.
This one troubled me:
I *was* using 85 accuracy for most weapons in my mod, so didn't see it was new when 1.02 rolled in.
But I could not change the accuracy of my weapons to any other value than 85....

After testing, I confirm that the real accuracy seem to be used in the game, and that the displayed accuracy is false.

Please fix this, it makes the whole roster and selection of units very confusing if you have another accuracy on your weapons than the one being displayed.
Also, it makes people feel like they can't mod it, whereas we can.

3. Wrong combat predictions: some weapons are not displayed

On the combat prediction UI, transport vehicles may display the combat predictions of other weapons.
It seems that they display the combat prediction of the unit they carry, instead of their weapons.

Suppose I have a unit with Cannon A.
And its transport with Cannon B.

The combat prediction UI shows the prediction with Cannon A (Cannon B isn't even displayed).
But in the results, range and casualties, the game does use the Cannon B( as required), thus making the combat prediction completely wrong.

EDIT:
This one is harder to reproduce.
It only happens to me with some units of the Infantry roster, not all.
Seems to happen oly with Infantries with " weapon ....

I transferred these three notes to the Tech support collection of issues.
