SSI - Slitherine in the footsteps

I´m one of the older wargamer so I played alot of SSI titles back in the 80s and 90s. To be honest, it´s still my favourite developer and publisher of computer games.
I´m a collector and have almost all titles from them in the original boxes and complete (imagine my room full of cupboards with games :) ).

Slithertine for me is a true successor of SSI. They make beside other titles round based wargames and Fantasy tactic RPGs, which remind me truly of the SSI games. With Panzer Corps they truly have made a real successor of Panzer General i.e.!

Justr wanted to state that I´m very thankful that Slitherine (and Matrix Games) develops games for this niche market - I´m a fan! :D

Curiously, Joel Billings (founder of SSI) told me basically the same thing, that Slitherine/Matrix Games is the new SSI. :D

I am indeed. From all SSI titles released, I own about 90% in the original boxes, with all contents.
And still searching to make the collection complete, though it´s getting real tough to get some titles.... (like "Gemstone Healer")
