Custom difficulty - changed XP not applied correctly?

The title is pretty much the question.

Testing a mod on FM, personalized XP to 75% via slider as opposed to the standard 50% for FM. It seems this is not applied correctly - a unit placed with 70 XP in the editor comes out with 35 in-game with these settings, so still 50%.

So I am wondering whether my units in battle now also get 50% instead of the 75 I want? Or do I misunderstand what the slider is referring to?

Anybody noticed the same (regardless of mod or official content)? Or do I need to provide an extra "diff" file in data to make it work?

Happened on 1.22. Or is 1.23 required?

It uses the unit experience assigned by the map designer.

Then if multiplies it by the setting.

For example; a unit starts with 30. Move slider to 200% Player experience. Player now starts with 60 experience.

Thanks. First I thought it still doesn't work - turned out I forgot to click the "custom difficulty" checkbox above - then it takes no effect of course. Silly me.

Sorry for the confusion
