Is it a bug? one infantry unit was catch by flanc by cavalry. The infantry was supposed to be protected by edge.
this was done during a pursuit move and the cavalry had change is target

If you mean a hedge, was the situation something like this?:

In this situation the right flank of the pike and shot unit is not protected by the hedge, which is not on the edge of the square it is in. In order to be protected by that hedge it would need to be in the road square.
The left flank and rear of the pike and shot unit are protected by hedges.

ok thank.
unfortunately now no way to see back the action or the terrain has the game is over.
would be fine to be able to review all the battle.
also I notice in 2 games strange pathing. it's look like the path move between 2 melees

I would be very interested to see a screen shot of that if it happens again. The code should prevent pathing between two units in melee with each other.

Ah yes. If you actually move it to the square on the map edge on the left, I think it will path between the two nearer units (of yours) on the left, and not between the units that are in combat.
It can do this even though the square it will move through to get there is not shown as a legal destination, because the program takes into account the angle required to reach the destination and not the angle required to reach each intermediate square.
This is a feature rather than a bug. (In so far as it is working as intended - it does this despite the apparent anomaly because the extra complication to prevent it was not deemed worthwhile).
