I see that I'm getting achievements but non of them pop up in game (as in other Steam games). I have to go to Steam client to see them.

Does this have to do with the fact that I'm playing a mod or is behavior the same in original game(s)?

I've never had any pop-ups for achievements, even without the mods.

What a shame. All other Steam games have this feature.

Steam achievements work with mods. Naturally, some achievements can only be unlocked by playing the official content.

Im beating the GC with the elite mod and works very fine. I got a lot of achievements.
