Hi,
my Mission fails everytime, overall chance 90%. It fails at everytime at second step with a chance 67,4% after over 30 (!) attemps EVERY time. (first) Unmanned suborbital Mercury mission, NASA. I guess a bug. Upload of DXdiag with this post refused for being a txt-file(?). V1.1.0 steam. I cant find the save game in C:\Spiele\Steam\SteamApps\common\Buzz Aldrin's Space Program Manager? (W7). Can u plz give me a hint how to post more informations to solve this problem/bug.

Hello Haegar,
The game stores the information for the pseudo-random number generator inside the savefile itself. If you reload the same savefile over and over, you'll get the same mission results. It's not a bug, it's working as intended. This way, it becomes really easy for me to troubleshoot any problems reported in the forums, as asking for a savefile will ensure I'm getting the exact same results than the player that reported the issue.
Regarding the forum attachments: try packing the txt inside a zip file.
Cheers,

If you're trying the "go back to saved game" cheat, you can work around the fact that the "random" numbers will be the same each time in a few ways.
Firstly, you can just cancel the mission and do it next season. This has the extra bonus of another season of technician research.
Secondly, cancel the mission, then schedule it again.
Thirdly, cancel the mission, then schedule a variation of it. For example, from unmanned suborbital, just try unmanned orbital. Yes, there's a reliability penalisation, but the dice are rolled differently every time.
Fourthly, if you have enough mission controllers, schedule another mission first, and then your second desired mission.
Each of these mean a new set of random numbers.
Lastly, you don't need to use the cheat. It's alright to have some failures. Programmes can come back even from catastrophic failures, see for example Apollo I.

Thanks, now I understand how it works. So my "problem" is solved.
I will try the "save game cheat" later, thanks for the workaround with new random numbers.
BTW: Failures are OK, but in this game there were a lot, too much
