Recruiting new units from different nations

I've had this "issue" (I put it in quotations because idk if it's something wrong with the game or I'm not doing something right) for quite some time which is: Whenever I want to get units hailing from different nations I always get the message that I don't have enough unit slots. (I.E. I'm playing Allied Corps atm and if I want to get greek/NZ/Aussie troops into my corps it tells me I don't have enough unit slots despite having 14 currently available, this also happens in other expansions i.e. wanting Italian/Hungarian/Roumainian troops in my German corps in Vanilla/Afrika Corps)
I mean this isn't a huge "issue" but I would like to have a multinational corps, just for authenticity's sake :3 (Unless other nation units weren't included in British/German corps during WW2 and served in their own respective corps I'm not sure...point is, would be cool to be able to do it >_<)

Aus, NZ, Canada etc. aren't set as nations that you play as in that campaign. Therefore any units that you buy for them are auxillaries, which have their own slot limit. Usually this is 0, meaning you can't buy them.

My Danzig Campaign allows a player to use all nations. However, it is an Axis campaign.

If you're willing to mod the game a bit, you can edit the campaign.pzdat file and add a heap of nations to make them all usable in a core. This can be done quite easily in excel.
